Curtain Up provides children from the age of 6 to 18 years with three hours of training in drama, dance and singing every week throughout the school term.

Curtain Up provides a safe and happy environment for children to meet newfriends and widen their social horizons. We see children exploring their emotions and learning to express themselves which helps to improve vocal capability and therefore public speaking. Confidence and self esteem improves, providing some excellent tools for adult life.

It has been proven that the performing arts when used in this way help the children’s cognitive learning ability and enables them to improve their ability to draw and remember information from text in any subject.
